projections,
the longing to be completed through another.
The abyss opens here.
This stage is often mistaken for romance,
but it is truly confrontation.
The initiate must face everything hidden beneath beauty and harmony:
dependency,
illusion,
avoidance,
fear of loneliness,
fear of truth.
Heru encounters the great tension between balance and conflict here —
the realization that harmony is not passive.
It must be earned.
This is the death-and-rebirth threshold.
The old self begins collapsing.
Alchemy begins.
