Libra

Auset
Auset is She Who Never Abandons. Queen, Mother, Magician—her very name carries the vibration of throne and sovereignty. She is the one who gathers what has been scattered, who breathes life into what has been broken, who restores order when chaos has prevailed.
Her power is not abstract myth but living current: she brings vitality where there is decline, protection where there is danger, and hope where despair has taken root. To call upon her is to know that help will come, though her aid demands sincerity and trust. She is the patroness of priestesses and healers, the model of unwavering devotion and sacred service.
Her mysteries are many. She is midwife and mourner, nurse and magician, guiding Heru to his destiny while shielding him from the venom of Set. She restores the eye, breath, and vital force of life itself. Through her, we learn the right use of power—personal and spiritual—in environments of respect. She teaches that dignity can arise even from tragedy, and that closure is not an end, but the preparation for renewal. To walk with Auset is to walk the path of sacred union: of self with other, of body with spirit, of Earth with cosmos. She is the one who whispers that balance is never static—it is magic, alive and in motion.
Venus
Spirit Supreme over Matter • Planet of Love & Pleasure
Venus governs attraction, love, and harmony—the way we experience relationships, art, beauty, and even our sense of self-worth. She reveals what we value and how we draw those values into form: through partners, through creativity, through the simple act of allowing ourselves to receive.

Seventh House of Partnership

The Seventh House governs balance, partnership, and the agreements that bind two lives together—whether in love, business, or sworn opposition. Here we see not only marriage and allies, but also competitors and “open enemies.” For even conflict is a mirror, showing us the parts of ourselves we would rather not see.
The essence of this house is about how you find people to compliment you and how you choose to cooperate with them. Why do you seek the people you seek? How do you relate to them? Why are they the ones you want to love, work with, or collaborate with over the long term?
Key 11: Justice
The Fool arrives at the gate of Justice and learns to bear the weight of choice. Here the lesson is responsibility—each action carries consequence, and every consequence calls us to discern with greater clarity next time. Justice is not only law and regulation, but the living balance that restores harmony through reason, fairness, and truth.
This Key carries the scales, symbol of karma: cause and effect, action and reaction. Justice does not punish—she reflects. She invites us to examine present conditions, to weigh their meaning, and to overcome the errors of the past. The sword she holds is not for violence, but for discrimination—to cut away mistaken thoughts, illusions, and poisons that distort perception.
Libra rules this Key, reminding us that balance is found in relationship—through cooperation, through love, through the willingness to reflect and be reflected. The body mirrors this lesson through the kidneys, the organs that cleanse toxins and maintain equilibrium. Just as the body purifies, so too must the soul release what is poisonous to the heart.
The scales of Justice also carry a deeper mystery: seven straight lines of equal length, symbols of the seven inner centers of the body and the seven original planets—Mercury (Key 1), Moon (Key 2), Venus (Key 3), Jupiter (Key 10), Mars (Key 16), Sun (Key 19), and Saturn (Key 21). Balance is not passive—it is the dynamic alignment of cosmic forces within and without.

Years ago Queen Esther introduced me to the Galactic Calendar, and now, as I place a new one upon the wall, we step together into the opening of another cycle.
Balance was a really important theme of the week for me. Getting both children to school with staggered entry dates and major miscommunications (or none) on everyone’s part, new rules, bedtimes, responsibilities, routines, and timelines.
While still unpacking and finding our individual pathways throughout our new home. New closets, drawers, rooms, etc. Everything opened and resorted, replaced, refreshed, renewed.
In the Tantric Yogini Yoga Sadhana course, we spent this week with Maa Tara, second of the Ten Mahāvidyās, following Kālī, and when I went looking into her imagery and iconography I found this image so similar to that of Auset.
This is the type of alignment I was hoping to find once beginning the journey with the Dasa Mahāvidyās (the Ten Wisdom Goddesses of Tantra) — Tara’s name means “Star” or “She Who Ferries Across.” — and Auset is associated with the Star Sirius… I’m reaching, but it’s still there.
This course has been really grounding for me. Due to the timing I haven’t been able to fully sink into the practices, opting to focus more on resting and getting my home together, preparing for the seasons ahead — but I feel them gathering up and waiting for me patiently, because what’s the rush?
