Every initiation first meets resistance.
Taurus teaches us about attachment:
to comfort, beauty, safety, routine, identity, and the known world.
Part of the soul wants transformation.
Another part wants to remain untouched.
Heru hesitates here —
not because he lacks destiny,
but because destiny requires sacrifice.
This stage asks:
What must be released in order to grow?
The refusal is human.
We cling to familiar gardens even after we know we have outgrown them.
Yet eventually the soul realizes:
remaining the same becomes more painful than changing.
