Scorpio / Anpu
Feminine Water. The Scorpion teaches steadfastness and descent. As sap withdraws into root, so too does the soul turn inward. Anpu opens the hidden gate of initiation—outer form dissolves, inner essence transforms. Here, divine force is fused with creation itself, and justice is measured in the unseen.
Pluto
Planet of Transformation. The soul reshapes matter into spirit, carrying us through death, rebirth, and the mysteries of the Duat. It rules the hidden wealth of power, the legacies of the ancestors, the depths of desire and debt. In its fire of dissolution, all forms are remade.
Eighth House of Regeneration
The hidden chamber of legacies and inheritance, where what is shared binds souls across lifetimes. Here lie the mysteries of sex, death, and rebirth—the alchemy of union that births transformation. Debts are paid, contracts dissolved, treasures revealed. In this house, the soul learns that what must be surrendered becomes the seed of renewal.
Key 13: Death
The Great Clearing. Death is no end, but a holy transmutation. What is unnecessary is stripped away, so the luminous seed may rise. Destruction gives way to renewal; the wheel turns, and the cycle of creation begins again.

Things to consider this week…
Scorpio / Anpu — Name what you must surrender, so that your inner essence may grow strong.
Pluto — Write of where you resist transformation, and call forth the power that waits behind surrender.
Eighth House — Confess the bonds you share—money, love, lineage, or karma—and declare which are ready for renewal or release.
Death (Key 13) — Witness what within you is ready to die, and speak the birth of the self that rises after.
More on this energy from May, when we had a Full Moon in Scorpio…
Cycle 05: The Crone
Women and Goddesses have engaged in spinning, sewing and weaving since the beginning of civilization. On a practical level they are keeping the world secure by providing the cloth that shelters us. Metaphysically, spinning and weaving keep the universe together
Scorpio revealed herself in many unexpected ways this week.
On Saturday morning the boys pulled crawfish from the river near our trail—small guardians of the underworld, reminding me of the many scorpions (and the movie atlantis) we’ve crossed paths with in Senegal, Bali, and Thailand.
Monday marked the beginning of a new Sadhana and I pulled the Dendera wheel to set the tone for this season. I’ll share the full breakdown soon…
oh wait was “scorpio” the rapture energy that kept being spoken of?
We journeyed with Ma Chhinnamasta…
Sever the mask — write what illusion or ego you must cut away, that your life-force may flow true.
Offer the sacrifice — declare what you must surrender, so renewal may rise for you and for all you touch.

…and I love how the Lotus Daybook has transformed into my sadhana keeper.
There is a ritual in writing out the days and a deep satisfaction in crossing them off one by one.
